Air Force personnel must keep emergency contact information up to date. This includes the virtual Record of Emergency Data, which is found on the virtual Military Personnel Flight.
The vRED is used to notify an Airman’s family members in the case of an emergency, so it is imperative this information is correct.
Information on unit recall rosters must also be correct. This is important not only to maintain readiness, but to ensure that you can be contacted quickly in the case of any emergency. Take the time now to check your emergency contact information for accuracy. The vMPF can be found on the Web at Air Force Portal under “Featured Links.” For more information, see your commander’s support staff or unit deployment manager.
