Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Immuniza- tion Clinic now give
eligible beneficiaries flu shots on a daily walk-in basis. The clinic
is located on Ward 11D in the main hospital and is open from 7:30 to
11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. daily except on Thursdays, weekends and
American holidays. On Thursdays, the clinic is open from 1 to 3 p.m.
In addition to the walk-in clinic, there will be immunization half-days
for beneficiaries Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Nov. 18 from 6 a.m. to
1 p.m. in LRMC’s Heaton Auditorium; and Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. and
Nov. 18 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Learning Center, building 3718,
room 101.
Pediatric patients (younger than 5 years old) can now get their shots
at the LRMC Pediatric clinic 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday in hospital Ward 9A.
Beneficiaries with higher risk conditions may get immunized immediately
at the immunization clinic. High risk includes all pregnant women
in any trimester, anyone more than 65 years old, diabetic patients,
asthma, immune suppression, chronic heart disease, children between 6
and 24 months, health care personnel who provide direct patient care,
or household contacts and out-of-home caregivers of children less than
6 months of age. Beneficiaries must bring proof of the high risk
condition, such as a note from physician, or a prescription to be
immunized now.
Ramstein and Sembach immunization clinics are now immunizing all
eligible; mass immunizations are 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at the Kapun NCO
Academy (building 2801), 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at
Vogelweh’s Security Forces Squadron (building 2067), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Nov. 18 at the Ramstein Northside Chapel, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 22 at
the Ramstein Community Center and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec.2 at the
Ramstein Northside Chapel.
The Kleber Health Clinic will give flu vaccinations to servicemembers
only 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Kleber Gym and to all eligible 4 p.m. to 6
p.m. at the Kleber Clinic Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Nov. 15, 16, 21,
