Kaiserslautern High School cheerleaders hosted their annual mini-cheer camp Jan. 12 at KHS.

There were 80 participants,  ranging from kindergartners to seventh-graders.

The enthusiastic participants spent the day learning stunts, cheer and chant, dance and tumbling. Not only was it a fun time for the mini-cheer campers, who one day aspire to be high school cheerleaders, but it also provided the opportunity for the KHS cheerleaders to give back to the community.

At the end of the day, the mini-cheer campers performed their newly-learned routines, along with their mentors, for their parents. Each camper received a certificate of participation and a cheer camp T-shirt.

The participants will perform their routines for the public, at the boys junior varsity half-time basketball game today in the KAHS gym, when the Raiders host AF North.
