Garden fair offers October special

***image1***The Garden Fair Kaiserslautern began selling season tickets for 2006,
and this season will have special advantages because it’s in the year
of the Soccer World Cup.

If purchased now, the ticket can be used to enter this year’s garden fair until Oct. 30.

In the new season starting in April, season ticket owners will receive
a 10 percent discount in various restaurants on the fair area and a 20
percent discount on flowers sold after being on display.

Parking on the Kotten-hof parking lot will be free.
“In the world cup year 2006, we will offer special highlights,” said Thomas Zinssmeister, garden fair manager.  

“Next season, 100,000 tulips more than this season will bloom and a
variety of other flowers –  depending on the season – will turn
the area into a colorful scenery.”

Numerous performances and special events will be presented again in the
new season. Children and families will enjoy  the dinosaur
exhibition, playgrounds, miniature golf and the possibility to picnic
on the huge grass areas.

If buying the season ticket for €40 by Oct. 30, a discount will be
offered for the second ticket. It will cost €35 and for children,
€17.50 instead of €20.
Tickets are available at the main entrance to the garden fair on Schoenstrasse.
