Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa and NATO Allied Air Command, Gen. James B. Hecker met with the Commander of the German Air Force, Lt. Gen. Ingo Gerhartz at Ramstein Air Base, Feb. 27, to discuss strengthening military cooperation and regional security.

This meeting underscored U.S. and Germany’s commitment to shared defense goals and reinforced NATO’s collective defense posture in Europe. 

Both leaders emphasized ongoing collaboration as a vital element in addressing challenges and advancing peace and security in Europe.

The two leaders pledged to remain in close contact.
