Ramstein Royals Wrestlers dominated an eight-team tournament held at SHAPE, Belgium Saturday. Ramstein scored 258 points and Lakenheath placed second with 141 points. First place winners for the Royals were: Trey Fortunato, Noah Sheppard, Coty Rienhart, Jose Figueroa, Karl Saucier, Cole Maxey and James Horst.
Girls Basketball
The Ramstein Lady Royals Varsity Basketball team defeated Heidelberg 42-17 Saturday. Senior Krissy Grosselin led all scores with 20 points and Sophomore Kenra Lenoir contributed with eight steals and four rebounds.
Boys Basketball
The Ramstein Royals boy’s varsity basketball team won their home-opener against Heidelberg 40-35 Saturday, bringing their record to 1-1. Junior Allen Weaver led in the scoring category with 17 points and sealed the game with clutch free-throws with only seven seconds remaining.
Senior Alex Tremble led in rebounding with seven boards.
