Heidelberg 49, Ramstein 38
The Heidelberg varsity basketball team recovered from a 28-21 halftime deficit to beat the Ramstein Royals varsity basketball team, 49-38 Jan. 21 at Heidelberg. Ramstein managed only 10 points the entire second half. Senior Brennon Relaford led Ramstein with 14 points.
Kaiserslautern 50, Mannheim 43
The Kaiserslautern Raiders varsity team won Jan. 21 at Mannheim. Jamal Anene led all scores with 11 points, Quintin Strawder had 9 points, and Julian Smalls and Clinton Robinson III each scored 8 points. Aaron Ellis led the defensive push with 11 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.

Heidelberg 56, Ramstein 54
The Ramstein Royals varsity basketball team lost to Heidelberg 56-54 on Friday in Heidelberg. Ramstein couldn’t recover from a 12-point halftime deficit.
Krissy Grosselin led Ramstein with 23 points. Corrine Lauture followed with 15. Kayleen Bannister led the team with 9 rebounds, and Heather Steele pulled down 10 rebounds and scored 8 points.
Kaiserslautern 51, Mannheim 30
The Kaiserslautern Lady Raiders put together another solid team effort and beat the Mannheim Bisons 51-30 at Mannheim. The Raiders let their team defense take over in the fourth quarter as they held Mannheim to only 5 points. The Raiders were led by Bianca Gerena-Perez who had 20 points and 14 rebounds. Also coming up big for the Lady Raiders was Tasha Warner who had 7 points and 7 rebounds. Lyndsey Hyter led the Raiders on the defensive end with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.

Ramstein 236.5, London Central 79, Baumholder 64, Giessen 54
The Ramstein Royals dominated another four-team wrestling tournament Saturday at Ramstein. Ramstein placed first or second in 10 out of 11 weight classes.
First place winners were: sophomore Noah Sheppard, freshman Coty Reinhart, senior Jose Figueroa, senior Karl Saucier, senior Logan Rainforth, sophomore Joel Smith, sophomore Eric Oyan, sophomore John Winston and senior Cole Maxey.
Bitburg 294, Menwith Hall 133, Kaiserslautern 124, London 108, Bamberg 63.5, SHAPE 57
Kaiserslautern wrestlers finished third in a six team, round robin tournament. Wrestler results were: Stephan Gillespie (1-2), Harrison Hayes (2-1), Jamie Jung (2-0), Bradley George (1-1), David Greene (1-2), Madison Hayes (1-0), Troy Price (uncontested 275 lbs).
Swimming
Ramstein 1,400, Heidelberg 900
In their last home meet of the season, the Kingfish topped the Heidelberg Sea Lions by the score of 1,400 to 900. The meet was not as close as the score indicates.
Swimmers who took first place in all three of their events were Alex Jaholkowski, Terri Plotkin, Justin Smith and Danny Edwards. Rounding out the top scorers for the Kingfish were Keith Johnson, Josh Couillard, Roni Place, Mindi Pierce, Jeff Place and Sean Warrington.
The season gets serious this coming Sunday in Brussels as the Kingfish and the SHAPE Seals go head-to-head for the division championship.

Tonight and Saturday the Ramstein Royals host their final home games against the International School of Brussels.
The Kaiserslautern Raiders host Heidelberg Monday.
Wrestling
The Ramstein wrestling team travels to Brussels to take on Brussles, SHAPE, Mannheim, Bitburg and AFNORTH.
Kaiserslautern wrestlers head to Heidelberg to compete against Heidelberg, Vilseck, Wuerzburg, Baumholder and Ansbach.
