History Corner – February 2, 2024

While deployed in Taiwan, crews of the 37th Airlift Squadron flew to Hanoi, Vietnam, starting Feb. 17, 1973, in support of Operation Homecoming, the repatriation of prisoners of war. In total 590 American prisoners in Vietnam were released and flown to Clark Air Base, Philippines, from Feb. 17 to Mar. 5, 1973. Photo by Air Force Historical Research Agency
