It is that time of year again when Air Force Postal facilities prepare to effectively serve Kaiserslautern Military Community customers with their holiday mailing needs. Beginning Nov. 1, the hours of the three postal facilities will be extended.
Ramstein Northside Post Office:
Finance windows: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday; parcel pick-up: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Ramstein Southside Postal Service Center:
No finance windows; parcel pick-up window: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Kapaun Air Station Post Office:
Finance windows: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday; parcel pick-up: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The finance windows at the Ramstein North Side and Kapaun post offices will be opened from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 11.
On Dec. 24, the parcel pick-up windows will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Ramstein Northside Post Office; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ramstein Southside Postal Service Center; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Kapaun AS Post Office.

The Air Force Postal facilities will be closed Dec. 25 Dec and Jan. 1. Customers should remember to pick up their packages as soon they receive the notice and maybe pick up some holiday stamps for mailing out their holiday cards.
The 2010 holiday mailing deadlines are as follows:
Space available mail: Nov. 26
Priority parcels: Dec. 10
First class letter and cards: Dec. 10
Express mail: Dec. 17
