Just in time for Easter, more than 100 artisans from all over Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands will show off their ceramic works Saturday and Sunday in the center of Homburg.
For the 14th time, a wide variety of ceramics will lure visitors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.
There will be useful everyday items, garden objects and decorations. Art items include jewelry made of different potter’s clay, art sculptures, Easter decorations, vases, dishes and garden tables with ceramic mosaics.
The European Culture Park Bliesbruck-Reinheim will present excavation findings and offer pottery for children.
Organizers will make sure that only producers of ceramics will take part in the market. There will be objects for adults and children, some cheap and some a little more pricy.
Knowing that many visitors from all over the area will come to Homburg for the ceramics market, the City of Homburg wants to make visitors aware of other local highlights, such as the Schlossberg Caves and the Roman Museum.
On Sunday, stores will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. A flower market will be set up on Eisenbahnstrasse. The parking garage in the center of town will be open on both days.
