Housing Hype: Get Your Out-Processing Package

Attention economy and Military Family Housing residents!

Are you getting ready to PCS? If so, please visit http://www.housing.af.mil/Units/Ramstein/ for the Out-Processing Package. This guide will provide answers to your questions pertaining to on- and off-base occupancy and provide steps for a smooth transition.

For our on-base Military Family Housing residents, please call the KMC Housing Office at DSN 489-6672 or civilian 0631-536-6672 to schedule an appointment no later than 40 days prior to your anticipated departure date. You can also visit us during walk-in hours at the Vogelweh Housing Office.

For our off-base residents, ensure you give a minimum of 30 days termination notice to your landlord and follow the instructions in the out-processing checklist. After you have completed the final walk-through with your landlord, visit the Vogelweh Housing Office during walk-in hours or schedule an appointment on Appointment Plus to visit our Ramstein Satellite Office.

The Housing Satellite Office on Ramstein AB is located in Building 2108 (former Dorm Reception Center — across the street from Chili’s). The Satellite Office is available for economy/off-base out-processing ONLY and is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Appointments must be made using Appointment Plus: https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/9rm3mcns/.

Upcoming office closures:

The KMC Housing Office and Furnishings Management Section will close at 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday for administrative time and on Feb. 15 in observance of the Federal Holiday.
