In memory and honor

Airmen from the 435th Construction and Training Squadron dedicate a memorial marker in honor of Maj. Rodolfo Rodriguez during a ceremony Sept. 18. The ceremony marked the one-year anniversary of Major Rodriguez’s death, who died while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Col. Thomas Gould, 435th Air Ground Operations Wing commander, Col. Tim Brown, 435th Contingency Response Group commander, and many other Airmen were present to honor his memory and present a shadow box commemorating his career to his wife, Caryn. The memorial is located in the 435th CTS compound under the flag poles.
