Jelly market presents regional products
A jelly market featuring sweet and spicy jellies, chutneys, vinegar, oil and liquor takes place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the House of Sustainability, Johanniskreuz 1, in 67705 Johanniskreuz (near Trippstadt). Vendors also sell ketchup made from Palatinate tomatoes, fig marmalade with rum, fig mustard and pumpkin chutney. Visitors can taste new wine and chestnut bratwurst. Vintners’ parade
As highlight of the German Wine Harvest Fest in Neustadt/German Wine Street, the vintners’ parade with floats, walking groups, bands and the German and Palatinate wine queens starts 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The fest closes with a fireworks display 9:30 p.m. Monday.
