Jog for the health of it; but, be safe

•Be visible day and night
•Wear lightcolored clothes
•Wear a reflective belt or vest
•Use sidewalk or path or jog facing traffic
•If you run on roads, give way to vehicles
•Carry a cell phone or spare change
•Do not jog with a walkman, MP3 or portable radio
