***image1***Despite numerous difficulties at Sunday’s meet, the Kingfish were once again the proven champs they are.

The meet was supposed to be a one-on-one with the Geilenkirchen Orcas.
The field was seeded and the Kingfish were ready.  After a very
early morning departure and a long bus ride, the Kingfish arrived ready
to meet their competition head on.

However, little to their knowledge, their main rivals; the SHAPE Seals
were also on the pool deck.  Despite the last minute addition to
the meet being done with out the Kingfish’s knowledge, they did not let
it get in their way.
They still won by 159 points.

This victory was a statement to the dedication the coaches and swimmers have to their sport.
The Kingfish showed they can overcome any obstacle with great results.
The final score of the meet was Kingfish 479, Seals 320, and Orcas 309.

K-Town’s next meet is at their home pool in Baumholder Saturday.
