Before you kiss someone, do you ask them for permission?
Will it ruin the moment? Will you feel like an idiot?
Most people do not ask their partner before engaging in intimacy because they may be uncomfortable or embarrassed. Yet, the majority of individuals love being asked. But why?
“Asking takes away all the pressures and eliminates potential confusion,” said nationally renowned expert and author Mike Domitrz. “Plus, when you learn how easy it is, you discover how sexy and romantic asking can be.”
Thanks to the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Sexual Assault Response Coordinators Office, Mr. Domitrz will be visiting USAFE bases to speak to local teens and parents concerning healthy dating, the dangers of social networking sites, consent, sexual assault awareness, and similar topics.
His visit to Ramstein March 30 will include four separate presentations. One presentation will be geared toward young Airmen, while two presentations will be directed toward students at both Ramstein and Kaiserslautern high schools (see school newsletters for details). Mr. Domitrz will conclude his visit by addressing KMC parents at 6:30 p.m. March 30 at the Galaxy Theater on Vogelweh. All parents are encouraged to attend this community event.
With all the recent media attention on high profile celebrities and their sex lives, asking isn’t about having more fun.
“The greatest reward of asking is that you are giving your partner the opportunity to say whether he or she wants to do what you want. You are giving your partner complete respect. Asking protects both of you from being involved in an uncomfortable situation,” Mr. Domitrz said.
Known for his interactive, hilarious and hard-hitting approach with audiences, Mr. Domitrz inspires by providing simple solutions.
His critically acclaimed book, “May I Kiss You?” is being used as a model by people of all ages. Mr. Domitrz has traveled the U.S. for more than a decade sharing his views with people of all lifestyles and backgrounds.
