9:59 a.m.: A burglary was reported in Kindsbach after an unknown person entered a home though an unsecured door and took money and cigarettes.
2:52 p.m.: There was a report of child neglect at MOMS on Ramstein. Investigation is still pending.
June 29
1:21 a.m.: A possible drunken driver was reported at the west gate. The driver was instructed to pull over for a random installation entry/exit point check. When opening all compartments, security forces detected the odor of alcohol.
9:09 a.m.: A major traffic accident was reported in Queidersbach after an Airman lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment.
10:05 a.m.: A major traffic accident was reported on autobahn A6 after a civilian stuck a guard rail due to inattentive driving.
June 30
5:57 p.m.: A major traffic accident was reported in Hochspeyer after a local national failed to yield and struck a civilian’s vehicle.
July 1
5:18 p.m.: An unknown person broke into a Soldier’s vehicle in Sembach and took a laptop.
July 2
3:59 a.m.: Polizei reported a possible drunken driver in Kaiserslautern. A civilian was observed operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. Upon contact, Polizei detected the odor of alcohol.
7:09 a.m.: Polizei reported an assault in Kusel after an Airman and a local national were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when the local national slapped the Airman in the face and the Airman attempted to restrain her by grabbing her by the throat.
July 3
2:51 a.m.: Polizei reported an assault in Kaiserslautern after two Soldiers were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when one Soldier kicked and jumped on the other’s head.
5 a.m.: Polizei reported an assault at a club in Kaiserslautern after an unknown individual assaulted a Soldier for an unknown reason.
5 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Kaiserslautern. Polizei stopped the Soldier for a speeding violation and detected the odor of alcohol.
July 4
8:40 a.m.: A theft from a motor vehicle was reported on the autobahn A62 on ramp after someone shattered the driver’s side window and took the car stereo.
1:22 p.m.: A domestic assault was reported after two individuals were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when a wife slapped, kicked and bit her husband.
4:01 p.m.: A civilian reported theft from a motor vehicle in Kaiserslautern after an unknown person broke into her vehicle and removed a GPS, vehicle
registration and an ESSO card.
9:17 p.m.: A Solider reported theft from a motor vehicle after an unknown person shattered his passenger’s side window and took an iPod Touch.
