MARCH 6
3:22 p.m.: Larceny of unsecured government property was reported on Kleber Kaserne.


MARCH 7
9:54 p.m.: A DUI was reported in Kaiserslautern after a call was made to Polizei. The driver was charged with an Article 111.

MARCH 8
12:44 a.m.: A DUI was reported in Landstuhl after a call was made to Polizei. The driver was transported to the Landstuhl Polizei Station for further processing. Test results were positive for alcohol.

MARCH 9
Eagle Eyes: Suspicious activity was reported on the  East Perimeter Road. A suspicious individual was using a video camera at that location.

12:18 a.m.: A DUI was reported near a dormitory on Ramstein where the driver failed to stop at a posted stop sign and was subsequently pulled over for a routine traffic stop. The individual was advised of his legal rights. 

5:10 p.m.: A suspicious package was reported at the Kapaun Post Office on Vogelweh. A brown box was discovered and the ION detector sounded the alarm. Fire and EOD were briefed and responded. EOD checked the package with the use of a robot and deemed it safe.

MARCH 10
3:33 a.m.: A DUI was reported in Kaiserslautern after a motorist drove into the pedestrian area of Marktstrasse.

MARCH 11
2:35 p.m.: A motorist in Reichenbach-Steegen was cited for  operating a vehicle without proper registration and without a license.

MARCH 12
6 p.m.: Vandalism and damage to government property (over $500) was reported at a Ramstein temporary lodging facility. The words “CAP’S,” “GHOST,”
“MOO” and “SXP” were spray painted in red and black paint on the northern wall. There are no known suspects at this time.

UCMJ ACTIONS
» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, to a staff sergeant for violation of Article 134, wrongful use of equipment and endangering self (planking). The commander imposed punishment of suspended reduction to senior airman and a reprimand.

» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, UCMJ, to a senior airman for violation of Article 111, drunken driving. The commander imposed suspended punishment of reduction to airman, with reduction to airman 1st class, forfeiture of $822 pay, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, UCMJ, to an airman 1st class for violation of Article 121, larceny, and Article 134, impeding an investigation. The commander imposed punishment of reduction to airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
