The KMC will once again join various groups and organizations throughout the world in celebrating Earth Day Sunday.
The Department of Defense celebrates Earth Day each year with activities and events at installations throughout the world.
This year, Earth Day Network officials have planned a three-year global Climate Solutions Campaign. The KMC is joining together in this effort to help educate people on climate change solutions, and will address the importance of natural resources in reducing the impact of climate change and global warming.

• A 5K Earth Day Fun Run will be Monday at the Ramstein Northside Fitness Center. Registration is from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Run begins at 9 a.m. and is open to everyone. All participants will receive a free Earth Day T-shirt.
