USAFE Band in fest parade
At 4 p.m. today, the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band will perform in the fest parade to celebrate 600 years of “Wurstmarkt,” the world’s biggest wine fest, in Bad Duerkheim. The parade will lead through the center of town to the festgrounds. The wine fest will run today through Tuesday, and continue Sept. 16 to 19.
Bavarian evening
The German-American and International Womens’ Club Kaiserslautern will open its club year with a Bavarian evening today in the Deutsch-Orden-Saal of the Kreissparkasse Kaiserslautern, Am Altenhof. Social hour with welcome drinks will be from 6 to 6:30 p.m., to be followed by the president’s welcome speech. A buffet will open 7 p.m. The event will offer music and a dance performance. Cost is €15 for club members and €18 for nonmembers.
Renovation on Einsiedlerhof
The Furnishings Management Section on Einsiedlerhof Air Station will be undergoing renovation starting Monday with an estimated completion date of Oct. 3. Entry will be at Bldg. 720, door 10. During this time, additional assistance will be available at the Vogelweh Housing Office to meet customer needs.
Bazaar volunteers
The 2016 Ramstein Bazaar will take place from Thursday to Sept. 18. An event this size needs many volunteers. If interested, visit www.ramsteinbazaar.org and click on the “Ways to Help” tab. Dormitory manager positions
The 86th Civil Engineer Squadron has vacancies in dorm management for four staff sergeants without line numbers by Sept. 20. They are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in a unique experience that will develop their leadership, mentoring and management abilities and broaden their talents. These positions are highly visible and require working with all levels of leadership.
Applicant Criteria:
• E-5 with completed 7-level
• Two years remaining on station
• Commute should be within 30 minutes
• Minimum of an 80 percent fitness score
• Provide copies of last three EPRs and SURFs
• Must not have received a Selective Re-Enlistment Bonus

Job Description:
• Ensures a high quality-of-life standard for residents to achieve a clean, safe and secure campus
• Coordinates and advises unit commanders and first sergeants on all matters concerning dorm residents and their QOL
• Manages individual room assignments, terminations and occupancy listings
• Ensures dorms meet public health and safety standards
• Accounts for furniture, appliances, recreational equipment and supplies
• Maintains and coordinates work order requests and repair records to ensure all actions are completed in a timely manner
• Supervises bay orderlies to ensure daily cleaning standards are met
• Provides after-hours on-call support to unit leadership and residents
• Ensures fire, safety and health inspections are completed
• Mentors and supports dormitory residents and dorm councils

Etiquette tea social
The Ramstein Officers’ Spouses’ Club will sponsor a “Mind Your Manners” etiquette tea social at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Ramstein Officers’ Club.
