KMC RAO council update

Did you know the commanders of the 86th Airlift Wing and U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern have approved the go-ahead to form a combined Retiree Activities Office council? 

Did you know membership of the council will consist of military retired, surviving spouses and retired Department of Defense civilians? 

Did you know the KMC, the biggest military community outside the continental U.S., has never had a “retiree council?”

The RAO is leading the way to establish the council that will represent members from Sembach, Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens, Landstuhl, Miesau and Ramstein. Now is the time for members of the retired community to create a forum that will benefit everyone.

To make a difference in the community, retirees are invited to meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Bldg. 2106, first floor conference room. We will nominate officers and fill positions on the council, which will lead the retiree community. We have jump-started the process to get the council up and running before the end of the year.
