A: Even though we have passed our target dates for guaranteeing registration and absentee ballot return, you still have time to register and vote in most states. Contact your unit’s Voting Assistance Counselors for last minute information and to obtain the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot, if you have not received your ballot by Oct. 15. The Federal Voting Assistance Program Web-site, www.fvap.gov, also has important links with registration forms, state specific deadlines and news updates. A third alternative is to contact the Installation Voting Assistance Officers at 480-8683. You still have time to “exercise your right!”
