Due to a current staffing shortage, the Appointment Line wait times may be longer than normal for patients of Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and the Army Health Clinics at Kleber, Baumholder and Wiesbaden installations.
To help save patients time, the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center team is encouraging TRICARE beneficiaries to use the TRICARE Online Patient Portal.
The newly redesigned website makes it easy for TRICARE beneficiaries to schedule and cancel appointments online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“TRICARE Online is really convenient for me because I might not have time to call for an appointment,” said Sgt. Deandrew James, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. “I can log in at work with my Canon Access Card to see what appointments are open and check those against my schedule. I can also seewhat appointments I have coming up and adjust them if I need to.” James explained that he saves time by ordering prescription refills online because the Patient Portal shows when they will be ready so he doesn’t have to wait in the pharmacy any longer than necessary.
“As a parent, TRICARE Online also helps my wife and I keep track of any appointments for our daughter and we can even see when they had certain vaccines or other appointments in her online medical history.”
