Rocky Horror Shadow Show Auditions: Be a part of the huge annual KMC OnStage Theater production of the Rocky Horror Shadow Show by auditioning for roles in the cult classic Sep. 9 & 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the KMC Onstage on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3232. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee: This hysterical and interactive show will be performed at the KMC OnStage Theater, Kleber Kaserne, Aug. 9 to 11, 16 to 18 and 23 to 25. Family and MWR Community Expo: Summer Expo on Aug. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., spend your lunch hour with Family and MWR celebrating summer. Speak with local representatives from throughout the community, learn about Family & MWR services and programs, and become acquainted with your new home. Enjoy a live DJ, lunch and cake provided by the USO, giveaways and the chance to win several great prizes, including the grand prize of $1,000 in European Travel through Army Outdoor Recreation. Jazz Night at Armstrong’s Club: On July 27, relax and let the music take you on a ride at Armstrong’s Club Jazz Night. Young Frankenstein Auditions: Come be a part of the musical based on the 1974 comedy film written by the legendary Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder. Auditions will be held Aug. 19 & 20 between 6 and 8 p.m. at the KMC OnStage Theater on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3232. Grapes and Graffiti at Kazabra Club: Join us for an unforgettable evening of friends and painting, hosted by the Arts and Crafts Center at Kazabra Club (Vogelweh, Bldg.2057). This adult only gathering is open to ID cardholders age 18 and above. Absolutely NO painting skills are required; you will be guided throughout the whole process! $35 per person covers all supplies for painting. This is a unique opportunity to learn sewing techniques that can save you money and make your home more sustainable! Our instructor will teach you to create fantastic eco-friendly reusable household items that can be and made with your favorite fabric and personal touch.
