Rheinland-Pfalz International Choir holiday concert: Following the return of our director, Dr. Justin Lewis, and his family to the U.S., Ms. Jennifer Hsiung joined the choir in August as our new Director. For the past three months, we have been busy preparing an upcoming concert for your enjoyment. Come to our concert “WinteVoices” at 5 p.m. on Dec. 15 in the St. Valentin church in Bann. Big The Musical: Come to the holiday show at KMC OnStage Theater about the joys of childhood! BIG the Musical is an adaptation of the 1988 Tom Hanks film about a 12-year-old boy who wishes on a carnival machine to be bigger, in order to impress the object of his adolescent affections. His wish is granted and he grows up overnight. The play follows his journey as he copes with his new adulthood while hunting down the traveling carnival machine in order to wish himself back into his younger body. All shows will be at KMC OnStage Theater. Stuffed Animal Sleepover: On Jan. 11, at 6 p.m. bring your best buddy to the Rheinland-Pfalz Library! Children can enjoy a special storytime with their favorite stuffed friend, then tuck them in for their first library sleepover! When toys are left overnight, they come alive, and our photographers will be on hand to capture all of their adventures. Pick up your stuffed animal the following morning, 9 to 11 a.m. and enjoy the pictures of what they have been doing in your absence! No cost to participate. KMC OnStage Studio Presents: Prelude To A Kiss: Experience the metaphysical romance that inspired the 1992 film starring Meg Ryan and Alec Baldwin. For Peter and Rita, it was love at first sight, and the journey to the altar was a swift one. A strange old man appears at the wedding, and asks to kiss the bride, and in so doing switches bodies with her. The events that follow are both comedic and thought provoking, as the couple navigates what happens to love at first sight, when the person you love no longer looks the same. Warrior Zone: What do you know about the Warrior Zone? The Warrior Zone is a facility that features a plethora of free services for Soldiers! The Warrior Zone hosts an array of events, including video gaming tournaments and movie marathons. Services include: free Wi-Fi and computer usage, free usage of XBOX 360, Ps3 and Wii console and games, free movie usage on HD equipment and more.
