» Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation invites you to attend a community expo from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at Kazabra Club on Vogelweh. Meet local representatives from throughout the community, learn about Family and MWR services and programs, make new friends and become acquainted with your new home. This readiness fair is aimed towards newcomers, but is open to all ID cardholders in U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz. All ages welcome. » Country Night: 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturdays. There is a $5 cover charge.

» Federal Resume Writing Workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 18 on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3210. Get hands-on assistance with your federal resume. In this course, the Employment Readiness Program manager will help participants construct their resumes. This workshop is best suited for applicants who already know what type of jobs they want to apply for. The goal of the workshop is for attendees to leave with at least one finished product. » Basic Training for New Parents will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday at Landstuhl Learning Center, Bldg. 3718. Get all the tools you need to be the best parent you can be. Enjoy special guest speakers and receive all of the latest information on infant safety, feeding a newborn, soothing methods, infant CPR, bonding and attachment and more! » A sexual assault support group meets at 2 p.m. every Friday in the Family Readiness Room of the 39th Transportation Battalion, Bldg. 3214, third floor, on Kleber Kaserne. This is a therapy and behavioral health process group for survivors of sexual assault and rape that occurred in adulthood. » Ramstein Toastmasters meet from noon to 1 p.m. every first, second and third Tuesday of the month at Ramstein South Chapel, Bldg. 2403. Individuals who want to develop their public speaking skills are welcome to visit the meetings free of charge. Participants can prepare for board interviews, promotional ceremonies or leadership roles. Public speaking skills or aspirations can be advanced and enhanced. » Military Benefits and Entitlements will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3210. Army Family Team Building empowers you, through self-development and leadership skills, basic Army knowledge and specialized training, to maximize your personal and professional potential. You will learn about the Army life and how to maneuver through daily challenges by discovering how to decipher Army acronyms, utilize community resources, attain better financial readiness and understand the goal and impact of the Army mission on daily life. » Sponsorship Training will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Jan. 24 on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3210. This course will help you fulfill the role as a sponsor for incoming personnel. Units sending students to training are required to pre-register with Army Community Service to ensure that a unit-specific sign-in roster is available.
