» Summer Jam at Armstrong’s Club: On Saturday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m, celebrate the beginning of summer at the Armstrong’s Club Summer Jam! DJ J-Smooth will play the hottest summertime hits. » KMC-PFLAG (a support group for LGBTQ youth, families, friends and allies) meets from 7 to 9 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month. KMC-PFLAG offers a fun, safe and welcoming environment for those who may be coming out, those who are seeking advice on supporting an LGBTQ friend or family member, and those who have experience to share with others. » Ramstein Toastmasers will meet every first, second and third Tuesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. at the Ramstein South Chapel, Bldg. 2403. Individuals who want to develop their public speaking skills, are welcome to visit the meetings free of charge. Participants can prepare for board interviews, promotional ceremonies or leadership roles. Public speaking skills or aspirations can be advanced and enhanced. » An Exceptional Family Member Program playgroup meets from 10 a.m. to noon the first and third Wednesday of every month at Vogelweh Community Center, Bldg. 2059. » BRS training: Service members from all branches of service and their spouses can attend. Blended Retirement System training offered by the Airman and Family Readiness Center. It is highly recommended that attendees complete the online Opt-In Training prior to attending to have a better understanding of material being presented. Opt-In Training is located on Joint Knowledge Online website and ADLS, Blended Retirement System Opt-In, Course number ZZ133146, under Selected Force. BRS training will be held at the Hercules Theater on Ramstein the following times and dates: 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m. to noon June 20; 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 29 and July 7; 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. July 11; 1 to 3 p.m. July 19; and 10 a.m. to noon July 25. Sign-up is not required.
» Advanced BRS training: The Uniformed Services Blended Retirement System will offer advanced BRS training for service members from all branches of service and their spouses at the following locations, dates and times:

» Comfort Measures and Relaxation for Childbirth takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. the first Thursday of every month at the Army Community Service building on Clinic Kaserne, Bldg. 8747. Take part in this interactive class. Bring a partner or friend, water and wear comfortable clothes. Topics include: massage and acupressure, positions for labor, use of tools such as the birth ball, meditation and focusing techniques, aromatherapy, and hot and cold therapies. Registration required. » Baumholder Youth Sports & Fitness Summer Camps: Summer is right around the corner, and that means it’s time to register the kids for the Baumholder Sports & Fitness Summer Camps. Registration began June 1. For ages 5-15, soccer is offered July 10-13, basketball is offered July 17-20, and Cheerleading is offered July 24-27. Volleyball is offered for ages 9-15 on July 24-27, and Football is offered for ages 7-14 on July 31-Aug. 3. Each sport is $25 per camper per sessions. A valid sports physical is required to register. » Canoeing: Mosel Valley: Canoe down the Mosel River from the town of Kesten to Bernkastel-Kues, passing steeply sloped vineyards and quaint castles as we make our way downstream. After we get off the river we will make a stop at a local winery for some wine tasting. The shops and stores in Bernkastel-Kues will be open. » Free Bowling and Dad’s Night Out: At Strikers Bowling Center, dads bowl free all day on Father’s Day Weekend. » Comic-Con Germany in Stuttgart: On July 1, join Baumholder Outdoor Recreation on a day trip to the COMIC-CON Germany in Stuttgart. You will find comic artists and publishing houses, anime, cosplay, exhibits, walking acts, movie props, and more. Get autographs from our Hollywood actors, listen to them on stage or get your photo taken with them in our photo studio. Cost: $85 per adult, $65 per child age 6-12. Price includes entrance fee and transportation.
