This year’s theme is “All people working together can end domestic abuse.” Speak up and be part of the solution. » Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation is offering free vehicle safety checks as part of the Winter Safety Day event from 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 12. Mechanics will spend a minimum of 10 minutes per vehicle and review all components to ensure that your vehicle can properly pass an inspection and to better prepare you for winter driving.
