Dial “M” for Murder: KMC Onstage Studio Shows presents Dial “M” for Murder, a classic murder story with the intriguing style of Alfred Hitchcock’s Film of the same name. Performances are at the KCAC on Daenner Kaserne, Bldg. 3109, on Sept. 27-29. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7 pm. Sunday performances are at 3 pm. Halloween Party at Armstrong’s Club: Mark your calendars and make sure you have the best costume of them all because Armstrong’s Club is hosting the biggest Halloween party in the area and there are cash prizes are to be won! Saturday, Oct. 26 doors open at 9 p.m. and the party will rage until 2 a.m. Open to all ID cardholders and their guests ages 18 and over. Domestic Violence Awareness Month: October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and therewith Army Community Services will be hosting events throughout the community to raise awareness. Oct. 1: Domestic Violence Awareness Month Kickoff at the KMCC Food Court on Ramstein beginning at noon to include a moment of silence. Oct.1-4: Domestic Violence Awareness Month Outreach at the KMCC Food Court on Ramstein, Oct. 11 DVAM Date Night at 6 p.m., Oct. 1-4: Silent Witness Exhibition at the KMCC Food Court on Ramstein and the Baumholder Java Café, Oct. 1-31: The Clothesline Project at the KMCC on Ramstein and the Baumholder Java Café. Community Expo: Halloween Edition: Family & MWR invites you to trick-or-treat your way through our Community Expo, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Oct. 18 at the Kazabra Club on Vogelweh, Bldg. 2057. Speak with representatives from the community, learn about Family & MWR services and programs, meet new friends and become acquainted with your local area. Those who attend will also have the chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate for European travel through Army Outdoor Recreation, along with many other prizes. Hidden in Plain Sight: In support of Red Ribbon month, the Army Substance Abuse Program will host two Hidden in Plain Sight workshops at 10:30 a.m. in both Kaiserslautern and Baumholder; Oct. 23 on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2886, and Oct. 29 on Clinic Kaserne, Bldg. 8743. These workshops include an amusing (and shocking) scavenger hunt in a life sized exhibit of a mock teenager’s bedroom full of “red flags” that may indicate alcohol or drug use. Attendees are challenged to find drug stashes, controlled substances, or other commonly abused household items. Open to all individuals who work with youth such as educators, law enforcement, unit leadership, parents, scout leaders, youth center employees, and any concerned adult community members. Young Frankenstein: The comedy genius Mel Brooks (creator of the record-breaking Broadway sensation “The Producers”) adapts his electrifyingly funny film of the same name into a brilliant stage creation. Holiday Bazaar: It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Holiday Bazaar time! Splash Days at the Aquatic Center: You won’t want to miss the Aquatic Center turning into an aquatic obstacle course for the day.
