The Pulaski Dental Clinic will schedule appointments by phone between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily. This is to facilitate better service during sick call and walk-in exam times (7:30 to 9 a.m.)

Karaoke Showdown
Showcase your talent at the Martini’s Karaoke Showdown each Saturday evening from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Ramstein Enlisted Club. Two winners each week will go on to the finals to be held on May 3. Project Cheer – Paintball Tournament
The Germany Regional Paintball Tournament will be held at the Kaiserslautern Rod & Gun Club on Vogelweh March 22. This is a Project Cheer event and features 3-man speedball teams competing for the championship. Ammo and supplies are included in the entry fees with teams representing their own bases. Rapunzel – A Fairy’s Tale
Ramstein Community Center and the Razz-Ma-Tazz Family Theater present “Rapunzel – A Fairy’s Tale” March 21, 22, 28, 29 at 6:30 p.m. The fabulous family entertainment will also have two matinee performances, March 23 and 30 starting at 3 p.m. Group rates (10 or more) are available by calling 480-6600.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Ramstein Youth Programs presents its 2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Monday starting at 10 a.m. Come join in the celebration which features more than 120 dancers and the Teen Center Drumline.

The parade ends at the Ramstein Youth Center  with a free St. Patrick’s Day carnival with games, activities and fun! Be sure to come dressed in green! The Parade starts on Ohio Blvd. (Bldg 1023) and turns left on New York Ave. with a stop at the Ramstein Commissary for a performance (10:30-10:45 a.m.). The parade returns to New York Ave. and proceeds left onto Lincoln Dr. completing its route down Jefferson Ave. and into the Ramstein Youth Center parking lot at about 11 a.m.

Antique Bazaar
The highest quality antiques in the KMC will be available for sale at the Ramstein Officers’ Club Antique Bazaar, March 20-24. The bazaar will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Call 480-2824 for more information.

Annual Easter Egg – Hunt & Kinderfest
Celebrate Easter with the Ramstein, Sembach and Vogelweh Youth Centers at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Kinderfest on Saturday, March 22 at Ramstein’s Donnelly Park. The Egg Hunt will held in three age categories: 0-4 year olds – 10 a.m., 5-8 year olds – 10:30 a.m. and 9-12 year olds – 11 a.m. The Kinderfest features games and crafts, bouncy castles and fun!

Easter Breakfast Buffet
J.R. Rockers in the Ramstein Enlisted Club will be serving a special Easter Sunday Breakfast Buffet March 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The buffet features your breakfast favorites including waffle bar, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and beverages.

Women’s History Month
The U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s Equal Opportunity office hosts a Women’s History Month luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 28 at the Armstrong Community Club on Vogelweh Housing. Guest speaker is Air Force Col. Angela Thompson, the 435th Air Base Wing Medical Group commander. This event is open to all military personnel, family members and civilian ID card holders. Ramstein
Elementary School will be holding an art extravaganza from 6 to 8 p.m. March 27 at the RES Art Gallery. This event is a gala art gallery opening featuring the work of each child at RES. In recognition of Youth Art Month, the show will be a glamorous opportunity to recognize the artistic achievements of the students in a setting rivaling a big city gallery opening.

No posters at Army gates
Flyers, banners, flags and posters can not be place on the
fence in front or at guard shacks or anywhere that the field of vision may be obstructed at all Army access control points in the KMC. These items can be placed behind the guard shack on the fence or where it does not obstruct the guards’ field of vision and area of responsibilities. Have Passport – Will Travel
The U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s passport office in conjunction with the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt is hosting “Have Passport – Will Travel” 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 3 at KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne.

Applicants must be present, and both parents must be present to sign for applicants under the age of 16. Passport application forms may be found at www.travel.state.gov. Flea Market
The Landstuhl Elementary and Middle School PTSA will host a flea market and car boot sale April 19 at the school.  Set up will begin at 7 a.m. with doors opening for shopping from 8 am to 1 pm.  

Tables will be set up in the cafeteria or you may sell from your trunk in a designated sale parking area. Volksmarch In Epping-Bitche, France
 The Ramstein Roadrunners Volksmarch Club offers an open carpool to the citadel town of Bitche  for a 10 km walk on Sunday.  They will meet at the Landstuhl Shoppette at 8:45 a.m. It will be possible to tour the fortress after the walk. The drive is one hour each way and the cost for the walk is less than €2 each.

 Meetings

The KMC Adoption Support Group meets at 7 p.m. every third Tuesday of the month at the Landstuhl Health and Wellness Center, Bldg. 3722. The next meeting will take place

Tuesday. The group meets the needs of adoptive parents, adopting parents and adoptive children through education and research to resolve adoption issues. For inquiries about adoption, visit the group’s Web site at www.usadopteurope.com.

The Kaiserslautern American German Business Club will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 26 at the Restaurant Am Rathaus in Kaiserslautern-Hohenecken. Kaiserslautern gets ‘HYPEd’

The Stomp-Step-Break Dance-RAP Group HYPE (Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence) will perform two concerts 7 p.m. Saturday at the Kaiserslautern Middle School and Sunday at the Kaiserslautern American High School. The group is Christian based and will be sponsored here by the U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s Chaplain’s Office.

Organists needed
An organist is needed for Catholic and Protestant Services at the chapel on Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.  Qualified organists are sought for contract to play two Manual, 45 Register, 32 Pedal Prestige 60 German Organ for Sunday services. 

Another organist is also needed for Catholic and Protestant Services at the chapel on Daenner Kaserne. Qualified organists are sought for contract to play three Manual, 57 Register, 32 Pedal Prestige 80 German Organ for Sunday services.

Both individuals must be capable of playing traditional Hymns for both services to include Liturgical sequences of a Mass or Lutheran Liturgy and able to accompany choral arrangements as needed. Military dependents, military retirees and local nationals within the commuting area are eligible to bid on these contracts.

AWANA
The next Ramstein Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed Club #042 is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Youth Center on Ramstein.  AWANA is a nonprofit, international, nondenominational, Christian youth ministry.   Children, pre-school to high school, attend the Ramstein AWANA chapter in age-specific clubs. Army Traffic Safety Program

The U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern hosts a special adolescent focused training for parents 10 to 11 a.m. March 20 at the learning center, Bldg. 3718 on Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

Running Shoe & Injury Prevention Clinic
435th Services and the HAWC (Health & Wellness Center) present a Running Show and Injury Prevention Clinic on Wednesday, March 19 at the Ramstein Southside Fitness & Sports Center.

The clinic, which runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., features running shoe selection for your foot type and mechanics, reduction of shin splints, knee and foot pain, proper running form and training techniques.
