Service uniform policy
Monday was such a fine day. Why? Because all I saw across Ramstein was a sea of blue, which meant Airmen were following the CSAF policy on wearing the service uniform on Mondays.
There are, of course, discrepancies that had to be corrected, one being the white undershirt for men.
Men must wear a white undershirt (V-neck or athletic style) with all service and dress uniforms; the white crew-neck style undershirt is authorized only when wearing closed collar service and dress uniforms.
There are also necklaces that can be seen a lot clearer in service dress that should not be seen at all. Please refer to AFI 36-2903 for any references or contact your first
sergeant.
