Government Housing Fact Sheet
Estimated wait times for on-base housing and current housing wait list positions are now posted as links on the Ramstein website under the “Government Housing Fact Sheet.” Each link is located half way down the fact sheet. Furnishings Management Office
The 86th Civil Engineer Squadron Furnish-ings Management Office will be contacting costumers to schedule pick-up of loaner kit items that have been held for more than 90 days. Call FMO at 489-6018 or 0631-536-6018 to schedule pick-up of your loaner items once your household goods have arrived.

Construction Corner
No drop-offs
Parents are reminded that gates and walkways leading to the Ramstein Elementary School from the commissary parking lot are closed due to construction. Students are not allowed to walk between heavy equipment and construction fences. For the entire construction period (through Aug. 12), there is no drop-off zone on the commissary parking lot.
Traffic Corner
Autobahn detour
Autobahn A-6 toward Mannheim will be closed for bridge construction from 4 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday. The detour will begin at the Kaiserslautern Centrum exit, continue on to the A-63 toward Mainz to the Göllheim exit, continue on to the B-47 toward Wattenheim, and end back on the A-6. The bridge is being built to allow wildlife to safely cross over the autobahn near Enkenbach-Alsenborn.
