The annual Military Saves Program kicks off Feb. 22 and runs until March 1. The Air Force adopted this Department of Defense Financial Readiness Campaign to promote
personal financial readiness among all Airmen and their families.
With today’s financial challenges, the campaign provides opportunities for the total force to develop and improve financial habits, which leads to mission readiness.
Each Airman & Family Readiness Center within U.S. Air Forces in Europe will offer a variety of events highlighting the principles of building wealth, not debt. There will also be interactive youth programs to energize youth and teens to develop and participate in their own savings strategies.
This year’s program will focus on four quarterly themes: save and invest, military youth, debt reduction and retirement. USAFE Airmen should contact their base A&FRC for details on what specific events will take place at their base during the annual campaign.
