National Kazoo Day at Sembach Elementary School

Sembach Elementary School students and staff celebrate National Kazoo Day Jan. 28 with a school assembly and parade. During the preceding months, students used kazoos provided by the Sembach Parent Teacher Organization to learn science, technology, engineering and math concepts, music, and Spanish. Teachers collaborated to show how one little instrument could be used in a number of different ways. A highlight of the celebration was when the students were joined by Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, and their own Sembach Tiger during their kazoo rendition of the Star Wars Theme Song.
