Where did you grow up?
I’m an Air Force brat and grew up all over the place. I actually graduated high school right up the road at Bitburg High.

How long have you been in the Army? And where did you just move from?
I’ve been in the Army for a total of 10 years. I came from Wurzburg. The base closed so I moved up here.

What was your job in the Army prior to radio?
Before radio I was a personnel sergeant at Fort Campbell, Ky.

Why did you want to be a radio disc jockey?
I’ve always loved music. I started DJing parties and dances when I was in high school. I got a job at a radio station in South Carolina as an on-air DJ and loved it. This is a way for me to continue my military career and do something I love.

How long have you been doing this job?
I’ve only been doing this job for a little over a year now.

Tell us about your family?
My wife’s name is Nicole and we have a 5 year old son named Caleb. We also have a boxer named Blaze. My wife is also a military brat but she grew up Navy. We’ve been married for seven years now. She’s an RN and our son will start kindergarten in a few weeks.

What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to just about everything. I just love music so getting to play music as my job rocks.

Favorite song?
That’s kind of a hard one because I like a lot of songs, but I’ll go with a song called “The Dream” by Miles Davis.

Your hobbies?
I love music, Xbox360, well, video games period, and traveling.

Where have you traveled since living here? Favorite place?
I’ve done a lot of traveling in the Bavaria region and I’d have to say that Garmisch is my favorite place.

Favorite movie?
My favorite movie is “Black Hawk Down.” The pilots in that movie were in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. My very first assignment out of training was to the 160th.

Favorite TV show?
My favorite TV show is “The Unit.” I have a special place in my heart for Special Operations Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Marines. I used to be in that community and respect them for what they do.

Anything else you want your listeners to know?
I’m glad to be in the KMC and I’m looking forward to a great time here.
