The first phase of an Integrated Base Surveillance System was completed last month with the addition of new digital cameras at Ramstein’s East and West Gates. The system allows members of the Security Forces Squadron to detect, assess and track potential hostile people or vehicles across the installation. Phase two will include cameras being placed along the perimeter of the base.
