Returning from Afghanistan
Sgt. Maj. Douglas Martin, support operations sergeant major for the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 16th Special Troops Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, reads off his weapon’s serial number for turn-in to Staff Sgt. Eric Burleson, an automated logistical specialist for the 16th STB, June 3 at the Ramstein Passenger Terminal. Martin and nine other Soldiers were happy to turn over their weapons once they returned home from their deployment in Afghanistan.

PMEL services
Senior Airman Jesus Briones, 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron precision measurement equipment laboratory journeyman, calibrates the points on a pressure gauge element needed to air the tires of planes and vehicles June 6 on Ramstein. PMEL consists of scheduling, shipping, receiving and administration sections to provide services to customers throughout U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa.
