Ramstein starts group for kids with deployed parents

Children with deployed parents have formed a new group, Kids4Kids.
Lt.
Col. Mechelle Hale, Commander, U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern, met
with students from Ramstein Intermediate School and Ramstein American
Middle School Oct. 20 in the first meeting of the Kids4Kids group.

RIS
and RAMS Parent Teacher Association, along with the school counselors
and psychologists, have joined to form Kids4Kids. The new group meets
every two months.

Colonel Hale reminded students that they are
an important part of the deployment effort. Her talk was especially
meaningful to the children because she has been deployed to Iraq and
left her own children at home.
