Richard Dysinger, Ramstein Intermediate School fifth-grade teacher, was recently named Kaiserslautern Teacher of the Year. Liz Dunham, Department of Defense Education Activity-Kaiserslautern superintendent; Col. Curtis Juell, 86th Mission Support Group commander; and Mary Salerno, Ramstein Intermediate School principal, presented the award to Dysinger.
Previously, Dysinger spent two years supporting the military community in Heidelberg at Patrick Henry Elementary School and five years as a classroom teacher and educational technologist at Matthew C. Perry Elementary School in Iwakuni, Japan. Dysinger will now move on to the next level and compete for Department of Defense Education Activity Teacher of the Year.
