Construction is scheduled for the Ramstein West Gate starting Nov. 27 and will continue until Dec. 29. Construction will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., which may impede traffic through the gate between those times.
The purpose of the construction is to perform maintenance on the inbound lanes, as well as to improve infrastructure of the Ramstein West Gate Visitors Center.
Please note the following scheduled dates for construction and maintenance:
Nov. 27 to Dec. 4, inbound lanes 3 and 4 will be closed (counted from left to right)
Dec. 4 to 15, inbound lane 2 will be closed
Dec. 15 to 29, inbound lane 1 and outbound lane 1 will be closed
All dates and times are subject to change based on construction progress. Check the Ramstein Facebook page for changes to construction dates and times. The Ramstein West Gate Visitors Center will operate as usual during this time.
During maintenance and construction, if anything is determined to be unserviceable or out of compliance, further repairs will be made at a later date.
