The Ramstein men’s and women’s varsity softball teams each managed to play one of two scheduled games through horrible weather Saturday.
The men’s team’s bats exploded en-route to a 31-22 win over Mannheim. Mannheim couldn’t find an answer for Ramstein’s Kristopher Auger who went 6-6 from the plate includings three homeruns.
The women’s game was a bigger blowout.
Mannheim could only muster two runs in the 22-2 romp by Ramstein.
The Lady Rams got a homerun from Cindy Vinyard in the game.
Next up for both Ramstein teams is two games against Heidelberg at the Ramstein Southside Field starting at 11 a.m.
