It’s rodeo time – wild mustangs and huge bulls, riders roping calves and cowgirls on fast horses racing around barrels. Cowboys try to stay on broncs or dare to ride a 2,000-pound bull for eight seconds. These are scenarios most every American knows.
Here in Germany, rodeo fans can get that and more during two hours of live entertainment at the Bonanza Ranch in Katzweiler (just north of Kaiserslautern). The rodeo will go at 3 p.m. Sept. 23 and 2 p.m. Sept. 24. Food and drink will be available.
Rodeo tickets are €12 for adults and €6 for kids ages six to 14. A family pass that covers two adults and three children is €30. (Courtesy of Dieter Brand, Rodeo America).
