College night, Oct.18
The annual Kaiserslautern College Information Night will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 18, at the Special Events Center on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. More than 85 representatives from colleges and universities will be on hand at this event. Representatives will include both college staff members and European-based alumni. There will also be representatives at tables with information about scholarship and financial support programs. This event is open to all high school students and their parents. It is an opportunity to obtain first-hand information about colleges and universities from persons with intimate knowledge of their schools. The evening may also be of benefit to others, including military members, who are considering college careers.
Picture day at KAES
The Kaiserslautern American Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization is hosting school pictures day Oct. 4 at the school. The photos will be done on a proof-plan basis, meaning that no money will be required on picture day. Proofs will be made and sent home for parents’ approval.
