$1,000 scholarship available
If you are studying or planning to study business, then you may qualify to win the $1,000 Kaiserslautern American German Business Club Scholarship.
Scholarship applicants, German or American, must be studying business or business-related courses at the University of Kaisers-lautern or any accredited university while having a home residence in the KMC area, have at least one year left before competing a deree, submit a 500 to 750 word essay in English on how the applicant plans to use his or her studies to further German-American relations and submit a cover letter in English.
Deadline for all applications is Jan. 31.

AFCEA scholarships available
If you are pursuing a degree in electronics, communications or mathematics, you are a prime candidate for an Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association term scholarship. The local AFCEA chapter awards term scholarships up to $100 for members receiving tuition assistance and $200 for members who do not receive tuition assistance.
Scholarship applicants must be active-duty, junior officer, enlisted, civil service and/or family members currently employed/residing within the Kaiserslautern community and pursuing a degree in electronics, communications or mathematics. Applicants must also possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher at an accredited university or technical institute. Applications will be accepted beginning Jan. 5 and ending Jan. 16.
