Ramstein American High School’s staff met Oct. 6 to begin a five-year cycle for a School Improvement Plan.
The staff, divided into groups, analyzed environmental scan data, which evaluates the work industry and how Ramstein’s graduates will integrate into the work force.
Dr. Peggy Hoffman-Schmidt, from the Kaiserslautern District Office, presented school test data, used to determine academic needs.
Faculty also began preparing for the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement visit in the spring. Groups prepared school profiles, which include student and community demographics, test data and school programs. Parents and students are encouraged to participate in the school improvement process. Monthly newsletters will announce SIP goals and plans. Parents interested in participating can contact
