Bus area closed
The bus marshalling area for Landstuhl Elementary/Middle School on 11th Street is closed to traffic from 2:45 to 3:10 p.m. daily. Remember, it is the law not to pass school buses while loading and unloading children.
CYS Services summer camp
Sign up now to take part in CYS Services’ summer camp, held June 15 to Aug. 28. The camp is open to children entering second through sixth grade. Local student to attend conference
Ramstein High School student Suzanne Smith has been selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference on journalism and mass communication this summer at American University.
The conference offers specialized workshops and classes designed to develop the skills that define a leader. Students have the opportunity to meet and learn from recognized leaders.

The 2009-2010 CYS Services Parent Handbook is now available. You can pick your copy up at Central Enrollment and Registration located in Bldg. 2898 on Pulaski Barracks or download it from www.mwrgermany.com. On the Web site, simply select “Kaiserslautern,” click “CYS Services,” click on the “Registration” tab and download your copy today.
Plan your dream vacation
Partner up with SKIESUnlimited and the Kaiserslautern Library at Landstuhl to research your dream vacation. Workshops will be held Tuesdays from June 15 to
July 20 for a fee of $15 and is open to students entering grades 2-12. Times vary by age.

School physicals
The U.S. Army Health Clinic-Kaiserslautern on Kleber Kaserne will provide sport and school physicals from 7 a.m. to noon June 12 and 25 for empanelled patients. To make an appointment, call the Kaiserslautern Health Clinic at 0631-411-1750 or 483-1750. To ensure medical records are accurate, bring a copy of immunization records.
Teacher Certification Examination
U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern hosts the PRAXIS Teacher Certification Examination at 8 a.m. July 29 at the garrison’s education center on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Deadline to register is Tuesday. For details, call the test examiner at 493-2593 or 0631-3406-2593.
