CYSS Parent Advisory Group meeting
Parents, come and get answers to your questions and voice any concerns you may have. Child, Youth and School Services hosts a Parent Advisory Group meeting with Col. Keith E. Igyarto from
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8 at Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812. Open to anyone who uses any CYSS program in Kaiserslautern or Baumholder. Lunch will be served, featuring some of the items from the new CYSS menus. There is no cost to attend. Reserve your seat with your CYSS facility or program director by Dec. 1. Preschool Thanksgiving Storytime
Get into the holiday spirit and join Rheinland-Pfalz Library for a Thanksgiving themed Preschool Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23. Open to preschool-aged children ages 3 to 5 years old and their parents. No registration required. Lapsit Storytime
Join the Rheinland-Pfalz Library for Lapsit Storytime. This infant storytime is held at 10:30 a.m and 1 p.m. every Thursday. The event includes sensory crafts, songs, fingerplays and stories. Light refreshments are available for the parents. Because of limited space, sign-up is required for every storytime. A wait list is also available, in which parents are notified the Saturday prior if a space has become available. Theater provides a safe, secure environment where children learn skill sets including public speaking, coping mechanisms, reading comprehension, verbal and nonverbal communication, and more. SKIESUnlimited offers Intro to Theatre for ages 5 to 12 and Shakespeare Scenes for ages 12 and older.
