Ramstein Airmen show students career possibilities
Airman 1st Class Tyler Terrell, 786th Civil Engineer Squadron pest management specialist, talks to students about his career field in the Air Force during career day Feb. 26 at Ramstein Hight School. Students had the opportunity to interact and ask question to service members from a wide variety of careers, including firefighters, weather forecasters and entomologists.

Seventy-three contestants participated in the six-team round robin format. Students meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays in the Kaiserslautern Elementary School library to learn skills and strategies for playing chess.

Jack Woodfork, coordinator for the event and coach, invited area schools to participate. More than 70 students from Ramstein, Kaiserslautern and Landstuhl participated. The overall district winners were from Landstuhl Elementary/Middle School.
