See ceramics at its best in Homburg

More than 100 artisans from all over Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg will present their diversity of ceramic works from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the center of Homburg.

The organizers, Saarpfalz-Touristik and Homburg City Marketing, hope to lure visitors from the whole region to the 13th annual Homburg Ceramics Market.
Artisans will offer useful ceramics for every day, garden objects and fine arts.

Items include jewelry made of different clay material, art sculptures, garden tables in mosaic patterns, and a lot more. Visitors will also find Easter decorations made of ceramics.

The European Culture Park of Bliesbruck-Reinheim will show off various archaeological findings and offers children to make pottery.

Visitors of the ceramics market might be interested in getting to know some other sights of Homburg — the Schlossberg Caves and the Roman Museum.

On Sunday, Homburg stores will open from 1 to 6 p.m. The parking garage in the center of town will be open on both days.
