Service Culture Spotlight: Carla Luna Mathews

U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz highlights Carla Luna Mathews for Service Culture Spotlight!

Calling Puerto Rico her home country, Carla serves as the Human Resource Assistant for U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz’s Military Personnel Division in Baumholder.

Her primary duties include managing passports, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, SOFA cards as well as ID cards. Carla also updates the DEERS system.

Carla has been working with U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz for 7 months but has had over 20 years of providing customer service. A little more than three of those years has been assisting the military community.

“I love providing customer service to the entire military community, DOD civilians, and civilians. I enjoy assisting everyone that comes through our MPD office. My biggest fulfillment is when I am able to find the solution, answer, and solve my customer’s needs. I get to see the direct results and positive impact of my services as a human resources assistant, passport agent, and site security manager.”
